It was founded on December 1, 1989 to address a growing need for technical support services for computer systems and networks in the local small business market. Our systems expertise includes: Microsoft Windows servers and desktops, Linux (SuSE, Red Hat, and others), Apple OS X, and IOS, and most brands of UNIX (HP-UX, IBM AIX, SCO, and others). We are Value Added Resellers for a wide variety of Computer Hardware, Software and Networking products. Our key software business partners include: Microsoft, AVG, Sage, Reflexion Networks. Hardware partners include Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, ASI, and American Power Conversion.
Excel specializes in Microsoft Windows Small Business Servers, remote server management services and prompt response to daily operational issues with computer systems and networks. We offer proactive monitoring and support for servers, desktops, and networks, with on-site repair of many hardware and software problems. We stock essential parts, like power supplies, memory, and network switches to get our clients back up and running quickly. We carry tools to diagnose and repair most day to day problems from Ethernet cabling right up to advanced servers and network storage. We design networks, extended LANs, branch office networks, backup solutions (on-site and off-site), anti-virus, firewall, SPAM filtering, routed sub-nets with layer 3 switches, remote access and virtual private networks (VPN). Excel also offers Internet Domain Name registration, website development and hosting solutions.
